One, two, three… what are we fighting for?

I’ve watched the invasion of Iraq – I grew up with Viet Nam, the Cuban missile crisis and the Cold War. But, there is someone on Auburn University’s campus who has chosen a very strange battle, indeed.

I wondered myself why we were fighting. I grew up with the memory of Vietnam and stories of the cuban missle crisis. I had really hoped that I wouldn’t have to live through an actual war, but I guess that every generation is going to have to experiance that first hand. Of course now I’m going to have two to remember and it’ll be just like WWI and WWII. Why are we having to do this again? Plus I want to know where these so called weapons of mass destruction are? And I don’t want to go hopping from country to country looking for them. It makes me think of the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Only this search is WAY more destructive.
