Recently we stayed at the lovely Queen Anne Inn in Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia. It was a charming spot with furnishings that sent me spinning back into my grandmother’s house with the antique furnishings, high ceilings and all encompassing wall paper. A great place to stay after an afternoon watching humpback whales play in the Bay of Fundy.
Among the evening events unprepared to partake of, was a Cemetery tour. As we walked from the inn to dinner, we passed this Manor, across the street from the cemetery. I was quite charmed with the carved woman figurehead in the yard. JP observed the figure in the attic window looking out on the cemetery. A fine line between charming and creepy, indeed.
